The Benedict Option

The Benedict Option is a book by Rod Dreher about how Christians should interact within the changing post-Christian culture. Is it biblical? Should Christian evangelicals such as Al Mohler be promoting this book? That is the point of discussion. The FAQ referred to in this podcast can be found here.

I was expecting a review of the book instead I got a section of Dreherian points and Catholic doctrines that were talked and brought to the word of God. I really think you guys missed an opportunity to that for the book.

Christians reading any book should not be an issue. Shining the light of Scripture on to a work and using what is useful and true must be the practice. If one wants to be a modern Berean.
