Pulpit & Pen Program, May 8, 2014
In today’s episode, JD launches with a Radio Free SBC to discuss Peter Lumpkins’ ‘endorsement’ of Jared Moore’s candidacy for president of the SBC against Ronnie Floyd. Then, JD discusses two young men shot while burglarizing a home and asks if Christians have the right to shoot an intruder. JD also discusses the two motions rejected by the LBC executive committee concerning the undue influence of David Hankins and then covers a retired United States Marine (and war hero) speaking at Brewton-Parker’s commencement, defending the lies of Ergun Caner told to the United States Marines. JD opines that if the Uniform Code of Military Justice were applied to Caner, he would have been court martialed.
