   The Fallacies of Floundering Flowers (Leighton Flowers and His over-active imagination)

   As the man said if Leighton thinks God is so Holy, Just and All-Powerful. Why then does God not just stop it? (That is evil and wickedness, the rape of little boys and girls) Because he will not violate their free will? God will one day. Will he not? How many times did God move the hearts of other nations to hate Israel or to go out after them into war and battle? I think that is messing with the so-called free will.

   Amos 3:6 – If a trumpet sounds in a city, will the people not tremble? If calamity comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?

   Did God cause the calamity of the twin towers where the evil wicked terrorists crashed planes full of people into the twin towers that killed thousands upon thousands of people? Is God responsible for a massive destructive hurricane calamity that kills thousands upon thousands of people in a city?

   Do you think God became a wicked evil terrorist and used His own weapon of mass destruction (a hurricane)? The Word of God says if Calamity comes to a City it is the Lord that caused it. Period!!!!
   Listen when people are killed by terrorists or by natural calamities which are decreed by God none can say they do not deserve it. Because we all ultimately deserve judgment, the justice of God and punishment in hell. So yes we still live in a fallen world where none of us can cry innocent if we die due to some evil or disaster. I am not saying that everything that happens is due to God punishing evil. But we live in a fallen world and under a Sovereign God who sits on His Throne in Heaven and does whatever he pleases.

   Romans 11:33 – O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

   Mr. Flowers makes better sense of the Scriptures IMO. As I listened to this podcast, I mostly heard disagreeing remarks and a few subtle attacks on the person, not on the issue. Sorry.
